Tournament format
48 players comprise the participant field of a European Tour event. The top 16 of the Pro Tour ranking are set and enter the tournament in the second round. The other 32 places will be played in various qualifying tournaments. Before the Lecot Belgian Darts Open begins, the Belgian Qualifiers will be held on Thursday 19th of March 2026, where the four best from this tournament will gain entry to the Open on Friday. This leaves a whole weekend full of action and excitement as top qualifying players do their best to upset the top pros in the darts scene.
The registration for the Lecot Belgian Darts Open Qualifier on Thursday must be made via the PDC Player Entry System.
Players that never played a PDC event before must register within the system first.
